'Most encyclopedias where you look for 'Degu' you will find nothing'
Our very first encounter with a Degu was in May 2006, before this neither Lori nor myself had ever seen or heard of one of these cute little critters.
They have the disposition of a squirrel and are the shape of a giant gerbil, there is still some controversy as to whether this is a rodent or is more closely related to the rabbit
There really is not a whole bunch known about them yet but it looks like they can make most wonderful little pets. Most encyclopedias where you look for 'Degu' you will find nothing, even our spellchecker does not recognize the word !!
